How do I create my first resume?
After signing up, click 'Create Resume' on your dashboard. Fill in your personal information, work experience, education, and skills. You can preview your resume in real-time and export it as PDF when ready.
What templates are available?
Free users have access to the Modern template. Pro users get access to all 8 templates: Modern, Classic, Executive, Creative, Minimalist, Two-Column, Academic, and Technical templates.
Can I upload my existing resume?
Yes! You can upload a DOCX file and we'll extract the content to help you get started quickly. Go to your dashboard and click 'Upload Resume'.
AI Features
How do AI suggestions work?
Our AI analyzes your resume content and provides suggestions to improve keywords, optimize for ATS systems, enhance readability, and strengthen your content. Free users get 5 suggestions per month, Pro users get 500 suggestions per month.
Are AI suggestions accurate?
Our AI is trained on best practices for resume writing and ATS optimization. However, you should always review and customize suggestions to match your unique experience and the jobs you're applying for.
Can I use AI for cover letters?
Yes! Pro users can create AI-powered cover letters. Simply provide a job description and your resume, and our AI will generate a tailored cover letter for you.
Export & Sharing
What formats can I export my resume in?
You can export your resume as a PDF. The PDF export maintains perfect formatting and is ready for job applications. PDF export is available for both Free and Pro users.
Can I share my resume with others?
Yes! You can generate a shareable link for your resume. Go to your resume and click 'Share' to get a public link that others can view.
Is my shared resume editable by others?
No, shared resumes are view-only. Only you can edit your resume. The share link allows others to view your resume but not modify it.
Pricing & Plans
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free plan includes 1 resume, 5 AI suggestions per month, 5 job applications tracking, basic templates, and PDF export. Pro plan includes 50 resumes, 500 AI suggestions per month, 300 job applications tracking, 100 AI-powered cover letters, all templates, and priority support.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll continue to have Pro access until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. Please review our Terms of Service for more details.
Job Matching
What is job matching?
Job matching is a feature that uses your career profile to find personalized job opportunities that match your skills, location, work preferences, and target job title. Complete your profile in Account Settings to get started.
How do I set up job matching?
Go to Account Settings > Profile and fill in your target job title, location, work setting (remote, hybrid, on-site), industry, and key skills. The more complete your profile, the better your job matches will be.
What's the difference between Free and Pro for job matching?
Free users get personalized job matches with basic features. Pro users get unlimited job matches, more results per page, and unlimited refreshes to discover new opportunities.
How often are job matches updated?
Job matches are cached for 1 hour to reduce API calls and handle rate limits. You can manually refresh your matches at any time. Pro users have unlimited refreshes, while free users have limited refreshes per day.
Can I apply directly from job matches?
Yes! Click 'Track Application' on any job match card to add it to your application tracking. This will pre-fill the application form with the job details, making it easy to track your applications.
Application Tracking
What is application tracking?
Application tracking helps you organize and monitor all your job applications in one place. You can track company names, job titles, application status, interview schedules, which resume and cover letter you used, and add notes for each application.
How many applications can I track?
Free users can track up to 5 job applications. Pro users can track up to 300 applications. This helps you stay organized throughout your job search.
Can I track multiple interview rounds?
Yes! You can add multiple interview rounds for each application. Track phone screens, technical interviews, final rounds, and more. Each interview can have its own scheduled date, completion date, interviewer name, and notes.
Can I link my resume and cover letter to applications?
Yes! When creating or editing an application, you can select which resume and cover letter you used for that specific application. This helps you keep track of which documents you sent to each company.
What application statuses are available?
You can track applications with these statuses: Applied, Under Review, Interview Scheduled, Interview Completed, Offer Received, Rejected, or Withdrawn. Update the status as your application progresses.
Account & Security
How do I reset my password?
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page, enter your email, and you'll receive a password reset link. The link expires in 1 hour.
How do I verify my email?
After signing up, check your email for a verification link. Click the link to verify your email address. You can also request a new verification email from your account settings.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your resume data is stored securely and only accessible by you. We never share your data with third parties.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account from your account settings. This will permanently delete all your data including resumes and cover letters. This action cannot be undone.
